FAQ
How far in advance should I schedule an appointment ?
Depending on the season, 3 to 5 business days should be plenty. However, in the spring / early summer seasons, the earlier you book the better, as we become quite busy.
Where are you located ?
We are located at the same location as Mighty Wash, at 121 Copper Road in Whitehorse. Vehicles can be signed in and keys dropped off inside the car wash at the office.
How long will you need my vehicle ?
We require all vehicles for a minimum of 8 hours. This is to allow us enough time to properly give your vehicle the "spa" treatment, as well as to ensure that your vehicle's interior is completely dry prior to returning it to you. Specialized services and non-packaged services may require longer, please contact us to confirm.
Is there anything I need to do before bringing my vehicle in ?
Please ensure that any valuables or items of importance are removed from the vehicle. While Whitehorse Auto Spa attempts to ensure that no clients personal effects are lost through the detailing process, we cannot guarantee that items aren't sucked up through our vacuums and shampooers (ex: items between the center console and seat that cannot be seen). Help us help the environment ! Removing all personal belongings from your vehicle prior to dropping it off saves the use of plastic bags !
What forms of payment do you accept ?
We accept cash, Interac, Mastercard and Visa.
Help, I spilled a liquid in my vehicle !
Give us a call or stop by as soon as possible in the event of a liquid spill. If the liquid spilled happens to be something that can go sour (most commonly, milk), the faster we can get your vehicle into the detail shop the better. We have specialized equipment and products to handle all kinds of spills and odours. Rest assured, we will do everything within our power to keep your vehicle smelling fresh and clean !
Can I watch you detail my vehicle ?
Unfortunately, due to insurance liability policies, clients are not allowed to remain in the shop area to observe their vehicle being detailed. However, you as the client are fully entitled to know what is going to be happening to your vehicle during its "spa" treatment. Our fully trained staff will be able to go over with you all the different processes your vehicle will be put through.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed ?
This is a question we are commonly asked, but there is no "one correct answer". It all depends on your specific needs and wants. Some clients bring their vehicles in regularly, some once or twice a year. Some clients want their paint looking its best all summer long, and some clients just want a good clean-up after the winter mess.
